The internet-based HSK test is identical to the paper-based HSK test in terms of difficulty level, test content, and scoring criteria. The only difference is that the questions are presented on a screen and you are required to submit answers through the use of a keyboard and a mouse.

The test fees for the Internet-based and the paper-based HSK are the same at our test center.

The listening and reading sections are scored by computer. The writing (level 3-6) section is scored by certified HSK examiners. Identical scoring criteria are applied to internet and paper tests.

Yes, it’s possible if the test center offers this option. But our test center currently only organizes Internet-based HSK tests at our test center, so it means the test takers need to come to the test center to take the Internet-based HSK test.
